J.P. was one of the funniest kids you could know. He always made us smile. When I heard what had happened I didn’t even know what to think. At first I was just shocked, then I felt angry and confused, then the sadness hit me hard. It just didn’t seem fair that this sweet, kind hearted kid could be taken from us so soon. Honestly, now I can say I feel more at peace because I know in my heart that J.P. died doing what he wanted to do in his life and that purpose was worth it to him to put his life on the line for a specific cause. That is more than I can say for a lot of people in the world today. I admire him and I don’t think the world could ask for a better soldier than our dear friend. We Love You J.P. and You will be FOREVER missed!!! ~ Ashlee and Arica Ferry, Kettering, Huber Heights, Ohio
