Mike Cornell here with Quick News of the Weird. It's brought to you by Shingle Restoration Services. For a free estimate call 740-328-9582. It's Halloween. That means it's time for Halloween pranks. One of the best Halloween pranks I ever saw was from this video posted online by this Brazilian TV show. The footage was recorded by a hidden camera. It showed people getting into this fake elevator. Each person thought they were getting into a real elevator but when they pushed the button for their floor, the elevator went down just one floor then stopped. The lights in the elevator went out. Then, unbeknownst to the person, a panel on the side of the elevator opposite the door was moved aside and a girl made up to look like a ghost entered the elevator with the person/victim. The panel was put back in place and the lights were turned back on. The prank victims reacted by screaming, crossing themselves or remaining motionless in shock. They tried to open the elevator doors, to no avail. After a few seconds the girl screamed. Then the hosts of the tv show opened the elevator doors and revealed to the people that they were the victims of an elaborate prank. Here are some pranks that are easier to pull off. When your partner thinks you're not at home, sneak into the bathroom while your partner is showering and write a creepy message in the steam on the mirror. Something like..."I'm watching you"..."I know what you did" or..."You're next." Find cheap hair extensions the same color as your partner's hair and scatter them around their pillow while they're asleep. Unscrew a shower head and dry the inside of it thoroughly. Then pour in a packet or red powdered drink mix and replace the shower head. The unlucky person who turns on the faucet will be showered with fake blood. This one is my favorite....Take a photo of yourself looking a bit squished. You can easily do this with a funny facial expression, or even by changing the dimensions of the photo on your computer. Then print and laminate the picture and stick it in a large jar filled with food coloring. Place the jar in your fridge and wait for your hungry guests to get a scare. Happy Halloween!
