A GREAT Leader who led by example, First met him in Ft. Carson, and again in Korea. He welcomed my family and I into their house for Thanksgiving @ Carson. He was a Combat Brother and Friend and he was truly put his Family and Country 1ST.

SSG Bourdon was one of my best friends. he was my platoon sgt, but he was my friend too. He was a truly good person. I pray for his family, and i hope his children are doing well. ~ Steve Campbell, Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Still thinking of Elvis often and missing his smile, his humor, his car advice. Know I think of him and his family often and feel deeper than I can express. Our loss and God’s gain. ~ j. Mitch, Killeen, Texas

Elvis and Family, I rode my motor cycle by the Vets Cemetery the other day and stopped by and Saluted you and shed a few tears. Then, I stumbled across this web site just today and felt it appropriate to leave a note. Its almost been 4 years. I remember that day……..times best forgotten…..but you my friend will never be!! Thank-you for the great conversations during breakfast in Iraq about our families and especially our children. You are a big man with an even BIGGER heart. I will always remember you and your family is in my prayers ~ Steve Overby, Killeen, Texas

The world will never be the same without SSG Bourdon. Bourdon used to always get yelled at by the 1SG for the stupid things that we would do, but he never got mad at us, no matter what we did. I will ALWAYS miss him. ~ Steve Campbell, Oak Ridge, Tennessee
