Take advantage of a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs during Rx Collect: Drug Take-Back Day by joining the Licking County Health Department (LCHD) on Saturday, April 22 from 10 am to 2 pm at Kroger Marketplace on N. 21st St. in Newark, Kroger Marketplace on E. Broad St. in Pataskala, and the Hebron Police Department on W. Main St. in Hebron. This year’s event is in partnership with the Newark Police Department, Licking County Sheriff’s Office, Licking Memorial Health Systems, Kroger, Hebron Police Department, and support from Mental Health and Recovery of Licking and Knox Counties. On Saturday, April 22, from 10 am to 2 pm, visit one of the take-back locations with your unused or expired prescription drugs in a clear, plastic bag for safe disposal.
For safety measures, please drive through the location and hand the medication to the professionals for disposal and remain in your vehicle. No questions are asked, and confidentiality remains a priority. |
