KOOL Question of the Day

Franklin Township is using new speeding cameras- not on traffic lights, but this time operated by actual officers. Officers capture speeders on the camera, and then are able to send a ticket in the mail along with a photo of the vehicle and license plate to the offender. One cop reported catching and ticketing 15 speeders in one hour, whereas he would have only been able to process 3 in that time the old-fashioned way. The increased ticketing productivity has raised $40,000 in just three weeks. Some argue, though, that officers should have to make their presence known and pull people over and ticket them on the spot.

The "KOOL Question of the Day" is:

Are you in favor of the use of these speed camera?
